Sales/Business Developer

On behalf of our Client Procom is looking for a Permanent Sales/Business Developer to add to its team, and to accelerate the growing customer base selling award winning enterprise server software for critical and emergency communication software to the US and Canada. This person will be responsible for inbound lead conversion, outbound lead generation and will have a direct impact on the success of the company. The ideal candidate is someone who has quality experience with sales in public safety telecommunications software, SaaS sales and is passionate about helping potential customers.

Job Details

– Setting up meetings with customer leads as directed by CEO & business development team

-Perform sales duties on calls as scheduled
-Identify and qualify business opportunities, managing all aspects of the selling process. -Manage inside sales, channel sales and direct sales entering information into SaleForce.com which is a secure CRM portal
-Perform inbound lead conversion and outbound lead generation/prospecting
-Prepare and provide virtual and in-person demos of the product with ability to edit content.
-Close new business according to targets, objectives and plans
-Maintain detailed knowledge of major competitors and a baseline knowledge of all other competition
-Employ a disciplined call campaign, update customer account information, and develop relationships to maintain accurate account for tracking (managing contacts through SalesForce.com and keeping it up-to-date for press releases and tradeshows)
-Maximize sales by efficiently and effectively providing help to customers
-Communicate customer requirements to Product Management and Support teams
-Offer after sales support services while the product is being transitioned to the support team
-Travel to visit customers, potential customers and attend public events and trade shows

Mandatory Skills

-5+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success
-University or College degree with business/sales/admin introductory courses
-Deep understanding of, and quality experience in enterprise software sales that is on-premise or cloud based in security and potentially emergency communications software is required.
-Strong experience with inside and outside sales and business development
-Experience using CRM tools, web services and mobile device applications

– Experienced with customer contacts management and customer relationship management software such as SalesForce.com
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with personality (online, on the phone and in-person)
-Strong presentation skills, being able to communicate clearly and professionally
to emails and when submitting reports
-The ability to ask for the order and secure the contract
-Self-motivated and results driven
-Excellent organization and time management skills
-Great listening skills
-Be able to articulate technology features and provide product positioning to the client, and how they can be utilized
-Solid judgment and decision making capabilities
-Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle
-Creativity, proven by the use of critical thinking to solve new problems

-Ability to effectively interact as a team member with all levels of team and customers
-Avid learner. The product is always evolving and so your technical knowledge must be too
-High-energy, proven level of high performance in previous studies or professional work
