Job Description

We’re looking for a Direct Sales Representative with a passion for hospitality and sales, to enable our customers to use our technology to its fullest potential and in turn provide amazing guest experiences. You have high standards and will push us to be better. You enjoy developing relationships with prospects and other stakeholders. You are an exceptional listener and have an innate talent of understanding others’ needs and solving business challenges. You are a self-starter who understands the sales process and understands how to nurture a prospect towards a demo. Your understanding of the sales cycle allows you to build an opportunity pipeline and qualifying and generating leads. This position can be based in either Calgary or Edmonton, AB and will be working from a home-based office.

Your Role

  • Excel at finding and closing new opportunities, growing existing accounts and creating loyal relationships with customers

  • Proactively manage opportunities with existing and prospective customers through all stages of the sales cycle

  • Motivated and driven to succeed

  • Coordinate and deliver dynamic web-based sales presentations and online product demonstrations

  • Prepare clear and effective written proposals and quotations (including hardware, software, and services) for current and prospective customers

What You Bring

  • Strong sales experience with a background in hunting for new business

  • 2+ years’ outside business to business sales experience preferred

  • Very good knowledge of hospitality business process, ideally with restaurants

  • Experience with POS (Point of Sale) Solutions an asset

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
