Senior Sales Executive – Business Travel (Clustered W Montreal & Le Centre Sheraton)

The SeniorSales Executive – Business Travel (Clustered W Montreal & Le CentreSheraton) is a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual responsible for thegeneration of successful achievement and future development of significanttransient sales volume produced at established levels of profitability. Servingas the strongest, most visible outside ambassador of the Hotel, this positionrequires exceptional organization and dedication to interpersonalcommunications to fulfill the numerous responsibilities of clientrelationships, industry involvement, business strategy, financialaccountability.




. Possess strong sales and negotiation skills

. Proven prospecting and new businessdevelopment abilities


. Upsell/negotiate services to maximize revenue andprofit.

. Sell the Hotel creatively, utilizing agoals/benefits/features approach to securing business.

. Assert knowledge and maximization of any Brandprograms; sell strategy and brand-specific pricing techniques (as applicable).

. Business & Marketing Plans tomaintain the corporate direction.

. Identify and develop new transient marketopportunities and strategies, proactively pursuing the appropriate mix and typeof business that will best achieve both hotels sales plan and direction.

. Responsible for the on-line RFP Management processesas applicable to brand or third party source, for securing corporate negotiatedAccounts.

. Participate in team brainstorming sessions, Hotelstaff meetings and client events as required for specific business situation,or as requested by Director of Sales or General Manager.

. Promote the Hotels through regular industryinvolvement and exposure at local and/or national events.

. Promote the City and the Hotels via planned salescalls and occasional sales trips to personally meet with clients outside ofimmediate area.

. Maintain positive employee relations in asupportive, team-oriented environment.

. Perform special projects or duties as requested byDirector of Sales or General Manager.


. Demonstrates commitment to W Montreal & Le Centre Sheraton Montreal operatingprinciples and philosophies.

. Addresses conflict in a timely manner.

. Deals with change effectively.
