The Opportunity:

You will be responsible to create and maintain a climate, which allows the positive presentation of the Company’s products and services to existing and potential clients. You will also assist in the establishment of clients by developing partner relationships with them and by providing professional and top quality service. You will :

  • Benefit from developing new markets and building strong and durable business relationships;
  • Succeed from listening and understanding customer’s needs and provide them with a solution for alarm intrusion, fire, and camera systems;
  • Grow from building a strong client base and network
  • Ensure close follow up with clients from contract signature to installation.

Key Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Prospecting, in an organized and diligent manner, active or potential clients, usually within a given territory or within a certain industry and/or product group, in order to introduce them to diversified product line;
  • Visiting clients and clients sites, analyzing clients’ needs and proposing system solutions, which will respond to these needs, as well as performing equipment demonstration where required;
  • Preparing sales proposals and deliver sales presentations, completing tenders and bids (including documentation and pricing) for specific products or services using assigned guidelines;
  • Following-up on sales proposals;
  • Participating in responding to customer concerns, before and after installation, when required to demonstrate that is concerned with complete user satisfaction;
  • Following-up with clients after an installation is completed in order to encourage a positive, and on-going relationship;
  • Communicating all pertinent regional client information to the District Sales Manager;
  • Participating in sales meetings, product knowledge and job training sessions;
  • Recommending and participating in trade shows;
  • Preparing sales plans forecasts;
  • Preparing the paperwork required for the efficient processing of sales orders;
  • Producing required reports in a timely fashion;
  • Developing marketing aids, such as mailers or others, to assist in the promotion and sale of Stanley Security Solutions products and services;
  • Taking on any other responsibility or perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by management from time to time.

Required Qualifications:

  • College or University diploma;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • 1-3 year experience in a similar role;
  • Great listening skills;
  • Autonomy, organization and planning skills;
  • Vehicle in good condition;
  • Available to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
  • Strong IT or specific vertical knowledge;
  • Proven history of sales success
