Team Manager – Smart Home Monitoring

Job Description

This position is responsible for the successful management of a team of Security Outside Sales Representatives, focusing on selling Rogers’s Smart Home Monitoring (SHM) products and services to residential customers within the Lower Mainland BC. The Field Sales Team Manager is an important role accountable to develop plans and drive sales results and reports to the Sr. Manager of SHM Field Sales.

Responsibilities:

Manage, coach and mentor a team of internal Field Sales reps who are within single family units (SFU’s) by going door to door.

Develop and implement sales plans by leveraging directed lead strategies to ensure all sales and revenue targets for Rogers Smart Home Monitoring are met or exceeded.

Work with your peers to share and utilize best practices across the organization

Effectively communicate progress on sales plan utilizing reporting processes and methods in place

Represent the team in a positive manner when working with cross functional business partners

Manage and participate in different in-field sales activities (i.e. door to door activity and sales events such as Home Shows or other grass roots events)

Provide ongoing coaching, guidance and performance management both in the office and in the field

Role-modeling best-in-class sales behavior at all times

Motivate and provide strong leadership to sales staff to drive sales results

Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to drive team performance within a customer-centric sales environment

Adaptability within a fast-paced, changing work environment

3-5 years Telecom or Security Industry; Door to Door sales management experience is an asset

Available to work flexible work shifts

Demonstrated leadership abilities

Proven track record to coach and motivate a team

Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills

Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle available

Strong computer skills, with excellent knowledge and ability in Microsoft Office suite (Work, Excel &PowerPoint) and handheld devices
