Mining Product Sales Representative


This is a Contract position in Fort McMurray region, AB posted October 1, 2017.

The successful candidate will be accountable for driving parts and service growth through account management at assigned locations as well as implementing and supporting continuous improvement of mining customer product support programs.

Role and Responsibilities:
. Perform all sales functions related to the full complement of OEM and aftermarket parts and service offerings for mobile equipment.
. Liaise with Wajax technical staff to provide technical support assigned customers.
. Liaise with Service Operations, other in-house departments, manufacturers, and all other relevant suppliers to determine status of orders, availability of technician support, and drive resolution of all customer concerns.
. Identify and resolves customer issues in a timely manner.
. Measure, monitor and report on U/C wear for mining shovels and excavators.
. Manage data collection for major component tracking program.
. Attend regular site meetings with Wajax technical staff as needed.
. Prospect and source new parts and service opportunities within existing accounts.
. Obtain broad product and service knowledge in order to deliver value to assigned customer base.
. Meet and exceeds all established sales targets monthly/annually.
. Assists in the creation, assembly, and delivery of RFPs.
. Creates and delivers quotations on parts and service offerings.

Position Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
.Journeyman HET Red Seal or College diploma preferred
.10+ years in maintenance planning and/or reliability, Sales experience an asset
.Technical background/knowledge in mining equipment, maintenance planning, organization
. Eligible for commission and a company truck is provided.
